In late 2024 LGM Industries was contracted to remove, replace and reinstate a vessel for a large silicon manufacturing company.
The scope of works for this project included:
- Disconnection and removal of the burner assembly, combustion air ducting and associated valves, outlet hot air ducting, exit ducting to stack, and other associated equipment
- Removal of platforms attached to the vessel shell
- Temporary removal of equipment, flooring and structural steelwork
- Cutting and removal of vessel sections
- Installation of vessel sections
- Welding-out of vessel sections
- Reinstatement of the structure and equipment
LGM was also tasked with fabricating two new vessels for the client which were then installed by us onsite.
