LGM was engaged to Install two new Leach and Absorption Tanks at the Tuckabianna Gold Mine.
The new leach and absorption tanks are 11750 mm diameter and 12000 mm in height, all plates were fabricated and prepared off site ready for installation works.
Overview:
- A level concrete slab was installed as a base for assembling the tank strakes into cans. Each can was installed into place using a 250t crawler crane using a lifting spider.
- Welding was carried out working 24h per day to achieve the timeline requested.
