LGM was engaged to fabricate and install a new aerator tank.
There are currently 9 x Aeration tanks in the SR02 aeration circuit. The tanks are 6.2m high and 5.5m diameter. The tanks are fitted with a top mounted agitator assembly, comprising a 250kW TEFC electric motor, Lightnin 882-Q-300 21.1:1 gearbox and aeration shaft and paddle.
This will facilitate an increase in aeration throughput capacity.
LGM’s Scope of Works included:
- The manufacture and supply of a 10th aeration tank (herein the Tank) as per the supplied drawings and other specifications.
- The design, manufacture and supply of transport cradles (if required).
- Manufacture and Supply of Associated Pipe work.
- Delivery to Site of the Tank, Pipe work and other items.
- Unloading of the tank at the site.
- Site installation
