LGM Industries was engaged to build a brand new component through workshop fabrication, welding, scanning and delivery to site for installation.
South32 Worsley Alumina were replacing the Recycle Cyclone, 2nd Stage Venturi Dryer and Sealpot vessels during the August 2020 Calciner 1 Major Shutdown.
This fabrication and supply of the vessels included the:
- Recycle Cyclone lower cone sections (supplied as two separate sections).
- Recycle Cyclone barrel and crossover sections.
- 2nd Stage Venturi Dryer.
- Sealpot Vessel, lobsterback duct, recycle cyclone duct and fluidising header.
