LGM Industries was engaged to fabricate a new upper section for the replacement of the Coke Silo.
The Coke Silo has been in service at Kemerton for over 25 years and has suffered from corrosion over time.
This scope of work for this project included:
- Arrange temporary bypass works for Coke storage and delivery systems during shutdown period. Reverse temporary works at the end of shutdown.
- Remove and reinstall mechanical & electrical equipment and piping to allow the silo to be repaired.
- Externally weld the connection of the replacement section of the silo.
- Complete all required demolition works.
