LGM Industries was engaged to fabricate, supply and transport a recycle cyclone and second stage venturi drier.
South32 Worsley Alumina were replacing the recycle cyclone and second stage venturi drier vessels during the February 2019 calciner 3 shutdown.
The scope of work involved in this project included the fabrication, supply and transport of:
Recycle Cyclone:
- Lower cone sections.
- Furnace crossover duct section.
- Cylindrical shell section.
- Roof section.
Second Stage Venturi Drier:
- Second Stage Venturi Drier Vessel (including the lower throat section).
Each individual item from the Recycle Cyclone and Second Stage Venturi Drier Vessel required specific internal attachments (refractory anchors).
