LGM Industries was engaged to fabricate, supply and transport a Recycle Cyclone & 2nd Stage Venturi Drier.
South32 Worsley Alumina were replacing the Recycle Cyclone and 2nd Stage Venturi Drier Vessels during the February 2019 Calciner 3 Shutdown.
The scope of work involved in this project included the fabrication, supply & transport of:
Recycle Cyclone:
- Lower cone sections.
- Furnace crossover duct section.
- Cylindrical shell section.
- Roof section.
2nd Stage Venturi Drier:
- 2nd Stage Venturi Drier Vessel (including the lower throat section).
Each individual item from the Recycle Cyclone and 2nd Stage Venturi Drier Vessel required specific internal attachments (refractory anchors).
