Junior Mechanical or Structural Engineer

LGM is a leading provider of Structural, Mechanical and Piping (SMP) services, specialising in fixed plant maintenance and capital projects for the resource and energy sectors in Western Australia. Due to continuous growth and expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical or Structural Engineer to join our team based in Bunbury.

The Position:

Assisting our project manager with material take off’s, preparation of work packs, and developing scope of works on a diverse range of projects your technical knowledge, problem solving skills and eagerness to learn will give you the opportunity to progress your career with one of the largest maintenance contractors WA’s southwest.

What you will bring to LGM:

• A degree or higher in Mechanical or Structural Engineering
• The ability to read and understand engineering drawings and Australian standards
• Highly proficient software skills including experience with Microsoft based programmes and the ability to learn new programmes efficiently
• Honesty and Integrity – consistent and uncompromising adherence to moral and ethical principals
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to thrive and work effectively in a team environment and independently
• Self-motivated, autonomous work style with strong time management skills
• Post Grad experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
